My father is an artist. What price is the best for him?

My father is self-taught watercolor artist famous stars and personalities sports. He seems to think it can sell images for up to 500 pounds or more, depending on what the finer details, he added to his paintings. He seems to think that because the works of other artists are also "garbage" and want a nice sum for their work, they can expect at the same price, but work better. It includes the quantity time and effort that went into the room how much it costs to make (the media type and used the parchment) emotional attachment, if any, a person with the artwork size and durability of the part of the reputation of the artist, it is important to consider these points when discussing a price because buyers want to know why art is worth the amount allocated. It is not wrong to compare art with the work of other painters, but it is important to know that some people prefer different styles of art, even if your father think its getting better. Also, people who have built their reputation and are best known are able to sell their artwork for a price higher than beginners. I also know that people spend much money to get a picture of their favorite celebrity or athlete prices should be negotiable.
