Most girls Vargas were published in Esquire magazine. I guess they bought the rights author, along with photos.

Meanwhile, Frank’s crime boss Beano (Wayne Robson) learns that the painting Frank has stolen is a four-million-dollar Matisse and comes to the town with three henchmen. After a fateful knife fight at a Cachoeira cockfight leaves Naldinho struggling for his life, Deco finds himself slowly falling for Karinna as his badly wounded friend battles back from the brink of death. Though Karinna’s relationship with Deco becomes increasingly intimate during Naldinho’s convalescence, it doesn’t take long for the kindly prostitute to realize that Deco isn’t the only one with intentions of claiming her as his own. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide cigarette smoke, sex, sweat, and neon, struggling towards some sort of stability in the haze. Art Heist $13.46 A criminal case leads a cop into both love and danger in this direct-to-video action drama. When a very valuable painting is stolen in a daring robbery of a Spanish gallery, New York-based art expert Sandra Walker (Ellen Pompeo) is called in to help track down the thieves. Sandra is a single mother following her divorce from Bruce (William Baldwin), an NYPD detective, and Sandra persuades Bruce to look after their daughter while she’s away. As the case drags on, Bruce begins to have his doubts about Sandra’s well being, especially after he learns that she’s working side by side with fellow art authority Daniel (Abel Folk), who was once his rival for her affections. When several people connected to the case turn up dead, Bruce flies to Spain to look after Sandra and help with the investigation, but its not long before he finds himself involved in more danger than he ever suspected. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

The Art of War co-stars Michael Biehn as Bly, one of Shaw’s associates, and Donald Sutherland as the Secretary General of the United Nations. Pygmalion (Criterion Collection Essential Art House) $17.96 Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller star in Anthony Asquith’s and Leslie Howard’s classic version of George Bernard Shaw’s satiric comedy. Henry Higgins (Howard) is an upper class phonetics professor who encounters low-class guttersnipe Eliza Doolittle (Hiller) and bets his friend Colonel Pickering (Scott Sunderland) that he can pass her off as a duchess within three months. Pickering accepts Higgins’ bet, with Eliza readily agreeing to the proposal, since she will get to live in Higgins’ fancy home. Once in Higgins’ house, Eliza is subjected to intensely repetitive phonetics lessons in an effort to transform her Cockney accent into the speech of proper English. Things are a bit rocky at first, with Eliza blurting out Not bloody likely at a tea party. But when Eliza is presented at the Ambassador’s Ball, she is not only accepted as a princess but is the talk of the ball, everyone in attendance commenting on her charm, beauty, and poise. Relishing his success, Higgins abruptly dismisses her. But Eliza has fallen in love with Higgins and is aghast at her cursory treatment by him. She tells him, I sold flowers. I didn’t sell myself. Now you’ve made a lady of me, I’m not fit to sell anything else. When Eliza leaves, Higgins realizes that he loves her too, but Eliza has announced to Higgins that she plans to marry high society playboy Freddie Eynsford-Hill (David Tree). ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide

Jackie Chan – Drunken Master 2 $13.46 Jackie Chan returns in one of his greatest roles in this action-comedy sequel to his 1978 Hong Kong blockbuster Drunken Master. Wong Fei Hong (Chan) is a young master of the martial art of drunken boxing, in which fighters use alcohol to blind themselves to pain and release the angry brawler within; with the right amount of drinks under his belt, Hong can become a furious one-man army. Hong accompanies his father (Ti Lung) on a voyage to China, where they purchase a precious supply of ginseng. When Hong discovers thugs stealing from their luggage, he leaps into action to get their belongings back. Instead, he winds up with a box of valuable Chinese artifacts, which criminals are hoping to smuggle to England at a tremendous profit. Hong sets out to fight the gangsters and give the artifacts back to their rightful owners, but while his stepmother (Anita Mui) encourages him to use his drunken boxing skills, his father feels his boozy antics bring shame to the family. Jackie Chan brought some of his most elaborate stunt work to Drunken Master 2, including a remarkable fight on a bed of hot coals; Chan also directed part of the film, after Lau Kar Leung was fired after a number of disagreements with his star.
